Arts and Crafts of the Americas
Pack your imagination and join us for a colorful creative journey across the Americas! This exciting workshop week invites children to explore art, culture, and traditions through hands-on creativity, stories, and discovery.
We’ll begin in the United States, exploring folk art traditions and creating our own inspired masterpieces.
Next, we’ll travel north to Canada, where we’ll discover Indigenous art, read stories inspired by Indigenous cultures, and design our own powerful and symbolic animal masks.
Then it’s off to Mexico, where we’ll learn about the history and meaning of piñatas, enjoy traditional tales and craft our very own vibrant, festive creations!
These are just a few of the artistic adventures planned for this special themed week.
